Akershus Princess Storybook Dining menu.
Breakfast may include such selections as scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, potato casserole, cinnamon rolls and fresh fruit. Advanced Dining Reservations are highly recommended and can be made up to 180 days in advance.
Open entering the Royal Banquet Hall, all guests will have their photographs taken with Belle. The photo is automatically added to the Memory Maker accounts for those who have purchased the Memory Maker package. Yes, this is my child in the photograph. She is NOT a Disney Princess! As much as I have tried to make her one, I have realized she is more of a Star Wars Princess. That’s ok too!
DIStracted Tip: Most little princesses wear t-shirts and shorts under their costumes so they can quickly change out of the costume after breakfast and take on a day at Epcot without all of the glitter. The little girl in this photo (yellow shirt) is the same little girl in the photo below wearing the Cinderella costume. 🙂
DIStracted Tip: My husband says this is one of his favorite dining experiences, not because of the Princesses, but rather the waitresses! All of the waitresses at Akershus are Norwegian and according to him, the most beautiful women on this planet. So ladies, if you are afraid your significant other or your teenage boys will not enjoy this meal, think again! 🙂
Lunch & Dinner / “Taste of Norway”
During lunch and dinner the royal feast begins with a “Taste of Norway,” featuring the finest Scandinavian seafood, imported cheeses, cured and sliced meats, and a vast selection of salads and fruits. Guests then take their pick from a rotating menu of hot entrées, including pan-seared salmon, oven-roasted chicken breast and a Norwegian meatball dish called Kjøttkake.
Children’s menu options include pizza, pasta with grilled chicken and salmon with roasted potatoes, vegetables and fruit salad. Save room for The Royal Chef’s Dessert Plate (a platter of 3 delectable desserts served family-style.)
