When we take our annual vacations to Walt Disney World, I do not want to step foot off Disney property until it’s time to go home (and even then I am not ready to leave). I’m pretty sure that you all share those same thoughts and feelings. To say that I’m a tad bit stingy when it comes to my vacation time and my vacation budget is an understatement. In order to cut some of our out-of-pocket spending, we like to keep breakfast foods, fresh fruit, drinks, snacks, etc. in our room instead of going to the resort food court or store every time we want something. I, for one, would rather pay grocery store prices for those items as opposed to resort prices. And, even though we drive to Walt Disney World and have a car at our disposal, we let Garden Grocer do the shopping for us.
GardenGrocer.com has been serving residents and visitors to the Central Florida area for over six years. Offering dependable and friendly service, great prices and a wide selection of over 4,800 of your favorite products makes Garden Grocer the perfect choice for your grocery needs. The GardenGrocer.com site is extremely user-friendly and easy to navigate with the categories/aisles clearly marked on their home page. Among the categories of items available are beverages and alcohol, breakfast items, dairy and snacks, meat and deli, breads and pastas. They also offer health living, natural and organic items and even pet supplies. Need bowls and utensils for the cereal you ordered? They have those too! Did you forget to pack the sunscreen? Garden Grocer has got you covered! Flying and can’t bring more than just a few ounces of shampoo on the airplane? Order shampoo from Garden Grocer!
In order to place an order with Garden Grocer, you’ll first need to register/create an account on their site which is easy to do. All that’s needed is your name, address, email address and contact numbers. You must order a minimum of $40 in product and there’s a $14 delivery fee plus sales tax on the items that you ordered. Once you have your items in your cart and are ready for check-out, you will choose from a list of resorts in the Orlando area. All of the Walt Disney World and Universal Studios resorts are listed and their addresses are already in the Garden Grocer system. Step 2 allows you to inform Garden Grocer of your requested date of delivery. There’s even an option to have Garden Grocer contact you to confirm your order and to let you know when it’s been delivered to your resort.
We have used Garden Grocer many times and their services have always been outstanding! Never once have I been unable to find the product that I am looking for on their site. They’ve delivered our order directly to Disney’s Caribbean Beach and contacted me by phone to let me know that it was delivered. All that I had to do was contact Bell Services and they brought everything directly to our room. The items were neatly packed into brown paper bags and clearly labeled with my name, resort name and delivery date. In our case, we ordered various soft drinks and a case of water, and even they were marked.
Over the years, Garden Grocer has stocked our resort room refrigerator and shelves with all sorts of goodies and it’s cost me a fraction of what I would have spent had we bought the items onsite.
I simply cannot imagine going to Walt Disney World and not using Garden Grocer’s services. By letting Garden Grocer do the grocery shopping for me, I’ve saved not only a lot of money but I also didn’t have to spend my precious vacation time shopping. I mean, seriously, when there’s Garden Grocer, why in the world would you not order through them? I always recommended Garden Grocer to friends and family and will continue to sing their praises to all who are traveling to the Orlando area.

Amen, sister! I use them every time we go. They’ve always been reliable, and right on the money with what I need. I’ve never had to wait for my groceries, they are always there waiting for me. 🙂
We always get a case of water bottles, snacks (fruit etc.) breakfast items and milk to cut down on the cost of buying them in the park or wasting a snack credit. They are great for buying other items that you don’t want to pack, diapers, 3 and 4 bottles of sun screen for the family, or if you are packing only to go on the plane you certainly can’t take liquids enough to get you through a trip, Garden Grocer is a great way to avoid that. 🙂
