As this is my first ever food review, I figured I’d start with my favorite Disney restaurant, Raglan Road Orlando. Raglan Road is an authentic Irish Pub located on Pleasure Island in the Downtown Disney area of the Walt Disney World Resort. Master Chef Kevin Dundon created the menu for this amazing restaurant. It features things like Fish and Chips, Raglan Risotto, Bangers and Booz, and “It’s not bleeding chowder”!
They have nightly entertainment in the form of Irish dancers and live music! Everything in this place is so authentic that it was all built and shipped from Ireland to Downtown Disney!
Our first trip here we had a party of 15 and we were seated right by the stage. We had a reservation so everything was ready for us when we got there. The food and drinks we had were all fantastic! Some of the things we ordered were the Scallop forest, Raglan Risotto, Fish and Chips, and Mamy’s roast chicken. The risotto is my favorite, I order it every time I go.
My husband loves the fish and chips! They are so light and fluffy, amazing.
For dessert, because we had such a large party, we had almost one of everything. The bread and butter pudding is to die for! It comes with 2 sauces, a caramel sauce and a crème anglaise. You can put as much or as little of either one on since they are served on the side.
The Dunbrody Kiss is lots and lots of chocolaty goodness.
The Fluffy Lemon clouds are gorgeous meringue pillows filled with Lemon curd. (Can you tell I’m a dessert person?)
The entertainment is fantastic! The Irish dancers try to get everyone up and dancing and they even pick people to take short lessons.
This restaurant is so full of laughter, fun, and great food. It’s a must do on your Walt Disney vacation!
This is on the very top of my list for favorite restaurants in Walt Disney World as well! Love, LOVE Raglan Road!
Raglan Road is my all time favorite restaurant in Downtown Disney! Absolutely love the bread pudding, and the Bailey’s shake is a must have each trip!
We LOVED Raglan Road back in March! We lucked out on a walk-up and it was delicious. Our girls were so excited to dance on stage with the Irish Dancers. We are looking forward to going there again in the future. 🙂
Christen your review made me put Raglan Road on our list of “must try”! Thanks!
Rita, Let me know what you think! (although I’m sure you will love it!)
