Star Wars  and Disney Cruise Line fans alike are sure to be jumping for joy when they read the latest “hot-off-the-presses” news released by Disney!

Whether you’re a Jedi-in-training or the Jedi Master of the family, you’re in for an out-of-galaxy experience when you sail on the Disney Fantasy in early 2016! Today we announced a brand-new, day-long celebration aboard eight special sailings on the Disney Fantasy: Star Wars Day at Sea. (DisneyParks Blog)

Star Wars Days At Sea will occur one day during each of the eight Disney Fantasy sailings and guests will be transported to a galaxy far, far away.  The event will feature a full day of Star Wars themed celebrations including a deck party, special character meet-and-greets, activities for the youth, special merchandise and even unique food and drink offerings.   Guests will also be treated to exlusive at-sea screenings of the Star Wars films and Disney’s XD animated series, Star Wars Rebels.  This event marks the first official appearance of the heroes and villains of Star Wars aboard the Disney ships.

The special Star Wars Day at Sea cruises will take place on the Disney Fantasy cruises sailing on January 9th and 23rd; February 6th and 20th; March 5th and 19th; April 2nd and 16th, 2015.  The Disney Fantasy will depart from Port Canaveral on it’s seven-night Western Caribbean itinerary which includes Cozumel, Mexico, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands and Disney’s own private island in the Bahamas, Castaway Cay.
