Today is National Margarita Day! The traditional margarita is a combination of tequila, triple sec and lime or lemon juice and is often served with salt on the rim of the glass. However, there are many other delicious combinations that can make for a stand-out drink. A wide variety of margaritas are served at Walt Disney World Resort and, lucky for you, in honor of National Margarita Day I’m going to let you know Where in Walt Disney World Can I Find? Margaritas!
Basic Information
Before going any further, I’d like to fill you in on some basic information. The intent of my Where in Walt Disney World Can I Find? series is to help you plan what may be a once in a lifetime trip to Walt Disney World Resort. If you’ve been to Walt Disney World many times, like my family and me, you may be on the lookout for new things to try while on your vacation. The Magical DIStractions team is dedicated to providing our readers with the most accurate and up-to-date information as possible. Where in Walt Disney World Can I Find? Margaritas!
Avocado Margarita:
The avocado margarita is a combination of Tequila Casa Noble “Organic” Blanco, melon liqueur, fresh avocado, agave nectar, and fresh lime juice and is served frozen with a hibiscus Himalayan salt rim. You can find the avocado margarita at La Cava del Tequila in the Mexico Pavilion in Epcot‘s World Showcase. La Cava del Tequila, is what Katy M. calls Epcot’s Hidden Oasis.

Blood Orange Margarita:
La Hacienda de San Angel in Epcot’s Mexico Pavilion of World Showcase also has an extensive list of margaritas on their menu including one sampled by Mary S., the blood orange margarita. Another margarita served at La Hacienda de San Angel is the Coffee Mezcal Margarita which is a blended mix of Sombra Fidencio Blanco and coffee ice cream.
Blood Orange Margaritas can also be found at Siesta’s Cantina at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort.

Dockside Margaritas:
One of the newer additions to Disney Springs is Dockside Margaritas, a laid-back waterfront margarita bar themed after a 1960s Florida fruit-stand where Guests can enjoy some handcrafted margaritas, authentic Florida brews, live entertainment and delightful views of Buena Vista Cove. One of the specialty cocktails served at Dockside Margaritas is the Sunset Margarita made with Don Julio Resposado tequila, Cointreau, fresh lime juice, sweet-and-sour, and orange juice. Of course, if you want a classic margarita, Dockside Margaritas serves those too.

Frozen Margaritas:
Staying at Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel? Cabana Bar and Beach Club serves frozen libations such as Pina Coladas, Mango, Raspberry and Strawberry Daiquiris, Rum Runners and Margaritas! Splash at Walt Disney World Swan Hotel has a nearly identical menu of frozen libations including the frozen margaritas.
Golden Margarita:
Who doesn’t love a dine-in theater? At AMC Disney Springs 24 Dine-In Theater, Guests can feast on delicious food and cocktails paired with great movies in a big-screen theater. The Golden Margarita, made from Cuervo Gold and Gran Marnier with sours mix and a splash of lime juice, is just one of the specialty cocktails on the menu at AMC Disney Springs 24 Dine-In Theater.
Grand Margarita:
If you are a Guest at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort and want to find a margarita, look no further than Drop Off Bar! The Grand Margarita served there is made of Jose Cuervo gold tequila, grand marnier, lime juice and sweet and sour. Grand Margaritas are also served at Hurricane Hanna’s Waterside Bar & Grill at Disney’s Beach Club Resort, Banana Cabana Pool Bar at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort and Mardi Grogs at Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter.
Island Margarita:
Magical DIStractions team member Christen G. and her family dined at Yak & Yeti Local Food Cafe and later stopped at a kiosk in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park to sample the drinks served there. One of the drinks that they ordered was the island margarita.
Jalapeno Margarita:
Served at San Angel Inn in Mexico, the jalapeno margarita is a blend of tequila, muddled jalapenos, fresh lime juice, agave nectar, muddled cucumbers, served on the rocks with a hibiscus Himalayan salt rim. Our very own Mary S. had the pleasure of trying this unique margarita and wrote a full review in Mary’s Frosty Beverage Picks at Walt Disney World Resort.
Jose Cuervo Margarita:
Whether you are camping or staying in a cabin at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort, you are just a hop, skip and jump away from Meadows Snack Bar where they serve a delicious Jose Cuervo Margarita. The Jose Cuervo Margarita is also served at Gasparilla Island Grill at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. A mini-version can be found at the Turtle Shack at Disney’s Old Key West Resort.
Mango Margarita:
The Mango Margarita, served at Sanaa and Uzima Springs Watering Hole, is a mixture of Patron Silver Tequila blended with mango puree. Magical DIStractions team member Danielle M. and her husband celebrated their anniversary at Sanaa at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge and she gave the mango margarita two thumbs up.
Mango Margaritas are also served at Let’s Go Slurpin’ at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon, Singing Spirits Pool Bar at Disney’s All Star Music Resort, Sand Bar at Disney’s Contemporary Resort and Petals Pool Bar at Disney’s Pop Century Resort have the Mango Margarita on their drink menus.

Margarita Flight:
Margarita Flight at the Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge in Disney’s Hollywood Studios – Try three margaritas at once? Yes please! Mary S. reviewed the margarita flight as follows: “I love a good margarita, so what was there not to like about having three? The margaritas offered in the flight can change, so ask your server. I hope they have the mango margarita because that was one of my favorites. They also offer wine, champagne, scotch and martini flights.” The current menu lists the Margarita Flight to include: Classic Margarita, Mango Margarita and Pomegranate Margarita.

Maui Margarita:
Disney’s Spirit of Aloha Luau is a fantastic dinner show held at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. The all-you-care-to-eat menu includes such delicacies as mango slaw, BBQ pork ribs, roasted chicken, vegetable medley and an assortment of soft drinks, wine and beer. The specialty cocktails, available at an additional cost, include fire knife quencher, daiquiris and the Maui Margarita made with Jose Cuervo Gold Tequila, Triple Sec, Sweet-and-Sour, and lime juice.
Millionaire’s Margarita:
The Turf Club Bar and Grill is the perfect spot to have a drink and unwind after a day in the parks. The Millionaire’s Margarita, a mixture of 1800 Reposado Tequilla, Grand Marnier, lime juice, and sweet-and-sour, is served at Turf Club Bar and Grill at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa.
Moonshine Margarita:
Sure to wet your whistle, the Moonshine Margarita is made from Troy & Sons platinum moonshine, St-Germain Elderflower liqueur, fresh lime juice, and agave nectar. If you are dining at Whispering Canyon Cafe in Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, you’ll want to give this unique margarita a try.
Raptor Rita:
Now here’s a margarita that is sure to make you roar! Raptor Ritas are served at T-Rex in The Marketplace area of Disney Springs. Get ready to hunt and prowl with a ferocious mix of Sauza Blue Tequila and sweet & sour topped with Patron Citronge!
Smoking Margarita:
In Ireland, the pub is a place to celebrate the day with friends and family. To tell stories, to laugh and to hoist a drink and you can do just that with a visit to Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant in Disney Springs! The Smoking Margarita is a mixture of Patron silver tequila, Connemara peated Irish Whiskey, agave nectar, fresh lime sour with a smoked paprika and sugar rim. Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant is a favorite of many including Danielle M. who had dinner there and Christen G. who dined with a party of 15!
Strawberry Margarita:
Grab one of the delicious frozen concoctions from Boardwalk Joe’s and stroll along the water’s edge, play afternoon midway games and discover evening street performers. The menu at Boardwalk Joe’s, located on Disney’s BoardWalk, has several special cocktails including the strawberry margarita made from Sauza gold tequila and triple sec blended with strawberry puree.
If you are at Disney’s Blizzard Beach and want a strawberry margarita, head on over to Frostbite Freddy’s Frozen Freshments!
