AMERICAN ADVENTURE PAVILION
As host of Epcot’s World Showcase, the American Adventure Pavilion sits in the middle of the eleven countries and invites guests to experience America’s history and culture. Drawing inspiration from Independence Hall, Boston’s Old State House and Colonial Williamsburg, Disney Imagineers created a beautiful Colonial-style building which is the centerpiece of the American Pavilion. The bricks were all handmade from Georgian clay and were then colored and aged to make them look authentic. The roof is slate and the tiles inside are made of copper and marble. The majority of the America pavilion is contained within one building that encompasses an expansive 108,555 square feet!
