The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotel are going to be having the largest refurbishment in the history of the resort. Costing a whooping $125 million!
The resort will take on a more luxurious and tranquil feel to its rooms. Both Swan and Dolphin will have new designs with the concept being taking from all the water architecture and water features which dominate the resort.
The resort which is located between Epcot and Hollywood Studios is marking its 25th year anniversary with a complete makeover. The Swan has already started renovating their rooms of which more than a third of the 756 rooms should be completed by the end of this year.
The Dolphin will follow suit next year, all rooms should be completed by the end of 2016. All furniture will be updated including new heavenly beds, four over stuffed pillows, goose down comforter and the latest technology, including HDTV.
The rooms will have a combination of blues, greys and whites with abstract wall art creating a tasteful ambience. The bathroom will also be renovated with backlit mirrors mounted on iridescent tiles.
It is important to advise anyone heading to this beautiful resort that all guests will experience no disruptions to their vacation due to the renovation work and the majority of rooms will be available throughout the process. All recreational areas will remain untouched and open for use by guests.
