We have the dates and NEW costume rules, so let the party begin! Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is by far my favorite hard ticket event Walt Disney World has to offer. I love the characters all decked out in their costumes, trick or treating, Happy Hallowishes fireworks and there is nothing that beats the ” Mickey’s Boo To You” parade!
This year (2016) Guests will be able to start celebrating with Mickey just a wee bit earlier than last year!
September 2, 8, 11, 11, 13, 16, 18, 20, 23, 25, 29 & 30
October 2, 4, 6, 7, 10, 11, 13, 14, 16, 18, 20, 21, 23, 25, 27, 28, 30 & 31
Historically, November 1st is the last date of the Halloween party, but this year no dates were released for November.
Everyone has been speculating on what the costume rules would be for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party since they implemented the new rules for runDisney races in January 2016. To read more about that check out “New runDisney Costume & Safety Guidelines…”
Well, here’s a look at the new costume rules taken directly from Disney Parks Blog:
New this year, we have revised our costuming guidelines for special events in our theme parks. While costumed attire may be worn, guests ages 14 and older are strongly discouraged from wearing layered costumes or costume props that surround the entire body as they may be subject to additional security screening. Additionally, costumes may not contain any weapons that resemble or could easily be mistaken for an actual weapon.
Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is a spooktacular good time for Guests of all ages!
