I was so excited to get the chance to travel to Walt Disney World to attend this year’s Epcot International Food & Wine Festival presented by Chase! I have always wanted to attend, but a family trip in the fall never seems to work out – but this year a girls trip was a perfect way for me to visit during this amazing event. My best friend Shelley and I quickly decided we wanted to attend the Parisian Breakfast that was held at Chefs De France. This event is affordable and worth every penny!
The event starts at 9am and they do not let you into the France Pavilion until the restaurant is ready. At first, this seemed a little silly, but as it turned out, there was quite a line as everyone arrived at the same time.
DIStracted Tip: I think if I’m able to attend this breakfast in the future, I will not worry about trying to arrive right at 9am.
Guests were quickly escorted inside as Cast Members were ready to take Guests in immediately after check-in. As we entered, we were greeted with Mimosas. Shelley and I were led to a table near the front window and we had a wonderful view of Epcot and the World Showcase as we enjoyed our breakfast!
Chefs de France had moved some of its tables so they could set up four buffet stations. This helped the lines move very quickly, since each station had the same food and the Cast Members were putting out more food as quickly as we were filling our plates!
I was so excited to get started on this meal! I will say, I do not eat pork and there were still plenty of options for me. If you are avoiding carbs though, this will NOT be a good choice for you. There were so many delicious breads. I enjoyed all of the fresh-made baguettes, cranberry brioche, chocolate croissants, drinking chocolate and a delicious cappuccino! I can’t tell you what my favorite was – because everything was SO amazing. I tasted a little bit of everything and I do believe hot chocolate is completely ruined for me now. Dipping my fresh baguette into the warm drinking chocolate was delectable.
DIStracted Tip: Some of the options, including the baguettes, are available at Les Halles Boulangeries Patisserie.
We were seated quite close to other Guests – which is great in my opinion! We made fast friends and shared tips about the Parks and some of our more unforgettable memories from past trips. We joked as the Cast Members came by to refill our mimosas. Every healthy pour of Champagne was quickly followed by orange juice in our glasses – no pre-mixed beverages here! Our Cast Member servers were incredibly attentive and so fast!
As we were leaving, we were handed gift bags – which was a complete surprise to us! We were not aware that we would get anything at the end of the meal.
I love the reusable tote (I will be taking that with me to the grocery store in the future!), a small cookbook with brunch recipes from Bonne Maman, coupons and recipes from Président Butter, a pin to wear and the sample of Strawberry Preserves. I had tasted apricot preserves during the breakfast, so I’m looking forward soon to treating myself to my own homemade Parisian Breakfast with some of these recipes I received!
I cannot recommend this heavenly event enough! My only regret is that I wasn’t able to eat MORE food! I hope this event is repeated in the future and that everyone has the chance to enjoy this delightful meal!

Would love to try the Parisian breakfast. Made me hungry. She made it sound so elegant and special.
