A casually elegant afternoon tea is coming to Disney’s Beach Club Resort! Served in the comfortably elegant Crescent Solarium, overlooking Crescent Gardens, you will enjoy classic afternoon tea savories and sweets, including house-made scones, petite sandwiches and pastries.
The centerpiece of afternoon tea is, of course, the drink itself. Guests can choose from a list of loose-leaf teas – black, herbal, green, and white. From complex floral infusion to sweet and zesty, these premium teas are impeccably brewed, served in Edgewood bone china, and poured tableside. A variety of alcoholic beverages such as sparking wine, whiskey and stout are also available.
Adults will have their choice of three tea services ranging from $30 to $60 per person. Guests ages 3-9 can enjoy the Short Sands Beach Tea including a first course of assorted tea sandwiches (shaped like Mickey Mouse); second course scones served with clotted cream, lemon curd and seasonal jam; and a finale chocolate chip cookies. This is accompanied with special “dark tea” (chocolate milk).
Afternoon tea at Disney’s Beach Club Resort will be served from noon to 5pm seasonally during the following dates: February 11-14, February 18-21, March 24-29, May 5-8, June 16-19 and September 1-5, 2016. Book reservations now via DisneyWorld.com/dine or call 407-WDW-DINE or call your travel agent.
