If you love sailing Disney Cruise Line with the tiniest of sailors like I do, get excited about a big announcement!  Disney Cruise Line has featured Jake from Jake and the Neverland Pirates for a while now, but his Disney Junior friends, Doc McStuffins and Sofia the First will soon be joining him on the high seas to delight young buccaneers.

Our family has enjoyed “Toddler Time” offerings on Disney Cruise Line before.  On previous voyages, we’ve taken part in Wake Up with Disney Junior and the Jake and the Neverland Pirates Party.  We also had the chance to see Jake throughout the cruise at various character meet and greets as well as on Pirate Night doing battle against Captain Hook.

Both of these programs, specifically designed for preschool fun, took place in the D Lounge on the Disney Fantasy and featured a chance for little ones to play and sing along.  In fact, kids even had the chance to meet and dance with their favorite characters.  Doc and Sofia may be joining Jake at the Wake Up with Disney Junior program as well as a new performance featuring a Pirate and Princess dance party!

DIStracted Tip – Did you know you can drop off one item per guest in your stateroom at Guest Services for autographs?  This way you won’t need to worry about carrying around items as you run into characters on board, but you can be sure to go home with those favorite Disney Junior autographs!

So the next time you set sail on a magical vacation, keep an eye out for your Disney Junior friends.  Whether it’s at a family dance party or just strolling around the ship, you never know where you will run into your favorite characters!  Be sure to say hi and welcome them aboard Disney Cruise Line!
