There are a lot of Backstage Tours offered throughout Walt Disney World for guests to enjoy. One of the newest to be added is the Backstage Tales Tour in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. This new tour will be replacing the Backstage Safari Tour (which is scheduled to close on February 27, 2015).
Beginning March 1, 2015, guests can take a 3 hour 45 minute tour through animal housing, a nutrition center, and a veterinarian facility. You will learn about Disney’s conservation efforts, see how more than 3 tons of food are prepared daily, and see how the animals are treated.
This tour will take place daily at 7:30 a.m. Guests must be 12 years or older to participate in the tour. The cost is $90 per person, plus tax. Guests can book the new tour now by calling (407) WDW-TOUR.
I’ll have to try this one sometime! We love the Wild Africa Trek, so I’m sure we’d enjoy this too!
