It’s seems Frozen is taking over Walt Disney World. We had Queen Elsa lighting the Castle in Magic Kingdom for the holidays, a Frozen Sing Along and a Frozen play area in Disney’s Hollywood Studios during the Frozen Summer Fun LIVE!, and now, Arendelle in Epcot. Plans were released showing the vacant lot in between Mexico and Norway in Epcot’s World Showcase will be taken over by Queen Elsa and Princess Anna in a project titled “Frozen Meet and Greet Building.” Not only will this new building feature a guest attraction but also a women’s restroom. There will also be some new backstage parking built for Cast Members. These plans are followed by the announcement that Maelstrom (which closed down in October 5, 2014) will become a Frozen theme ride.

What are your thoughts on more Frozen being added to the theme parks?
I like Frozen. Yet, I am starting to get a little burned out. I see the need for adding Arrendale, however, I wish it was somewhere other than Epcot!
I hate this idea. Why not make another Castle area in FantasyLand for the Princesses of Arendelle? Why not add more countries or more attractions in the World Showcase? I love the movie, I love the characters. I don’t love having Frozen in 3 different parks like it currently is…
I don’t agree with any of this. I am an avid lover of all things Disney….except this. I do not like the idea of combining fact and fiction in the World Showcase. I believe the WS should be left as is….educational and full of facts, not fiction.
I think it’s a good idea, as frozen is the most popular disney film. And kids love it! I think that it’s a really good idea to put it in Epcot as Epcot has different country’s and frozen is made in Norway. I’ve been to orlando over 5 times and it’s exciting each time I go that there is new things & rides otherwise it would get boring. X
Epcot needs more attractions it’s kinda fading out, we go every year to Disney as we have three little kids and epcot is the one we have been passing on bc there not much there, Great idea putting a frozen ride there!
