About Pamela Charles

I'm a stay-at-home mom from South Jersey. When I'm not planning my escape to see Mickey or chasing tiny humans around the house, I work as a freelance calligrapher. Disney is definitely a family affair in our household. We’re the matching-Mickey-Mouse-pajama kind of family and I really love that about us. I’m so grateful for all the memories we’ve created together at the Disney Parks. There's nothing I love more than being surrounded by magic with the people I love.

Disney’s “Zootopia” Is Brilliant, Fun, and Brimming with Valuable Lessons for All Ages

Disney’s “Zootopia” Is Brilliant, Fun, and Brimming with Valuable Lessons for All Ages

Disney’s latest animated feature, Zootopia, hits theaters this Friday, March 4. My family had the privilege of getting a sneak peek earlier this week, and we thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it. My children have not stopped talking about it and my son has asked at least 50 times when it is coming out on Blu-ray since our Monday night […]

Magic Comes to Life in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast Musical

Magic Comes to Life in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast Musical

As I mentioned earlier this month, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast musical is currently making its way across the nation. I was fortunate enough to catch the opening night performance at Philadelphia’s Academy of Music, where it will be enchanting audiences from now until February 21. If you’ve never had the privilege to see this stunning interpretation of […]

Anything but a Beast: An Interview with Sam Hartley

As I mentioned yesterday, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast musical is currently touring the nation and is likely headed to a city near you. We caught up with the decidedly charming man who is currently bringing everyone’s favorite Beast to life one city at a time. I’ll be seeing the show at Philadelphia’s Academy of Music […]

Dresses to Impress a Persnickety Princess

Dresses to Impress a Persnickety Princess

My daughter loves the Disney Princesses, so it’s no surprise that our suitcases contain no less than one princess dress per day for her to wear when we visit the Disney Parks. Outfitting a pint-sized Disney Princess is a fairly simple task for most; after all, it’s much easier than trying to present a proper […]

Presenting a Proper Disney Parks Prince: A Surprisingly Difficult Task

If you’ve ever stepped foot in a Disney Park, there’s no doubt you’ve witnessed many, if not, thousands of little girls dressed as pint-sized princesses throughout your stay. A trip to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is considered a rite of passage for most Disney Guests and their offspring; some even make it a must-do experience […]

Why I runDisney: A Quest for Shiny Objects

Why I runDisney: A Quest for Shiny Objects

If anyone told me five years ago that attempted athleticism would have me crossing the continent to run without the aid of lions chasing me, I would have seriously questioned their sanity. In fact, that was my exact reaction when friends announced in 2009, that they were planning on running in the 2010 Princess Half […]
