When you step inside Be Our Guest Restaurant you feel as if you’ve truly entered the Beast’s castle! Located in the new Fantasyland in the Magic Kingdom, Be Our Guest Restaurant is one of the newest restaurants in the entire park. The restaurant serves a quick service breakfast and lunch and, at dinner, serves a table service meal. It is one of the most popular restaurants on Disney property meaning that it books up quickly. Every Princess, and Prince, wants to eat inside of the enchanted castle.

In the past, we have been on the Disney Dining Plan but on this trip, we were paying out-of-pocket. Instead of eating a table service meal each evening, we decided to try more counter service options. We had dined at Be Our Guest before and knew that the portions were large and the food was excellent. So, booking an advance dining reservation was high on my list of planning priorities.
DIStracted Tip: Reservations can be made up to 180 days for all three meals. They go quickly so keep a keen eye on the date on which you can book. If, however, you can’t snag a coveted reservation, don’t give up! I’ve been able to get both lunch and dinner reservations less than three months before our arrival date.
Where do I check in?
The check-in podium for Be Our Guest Restaurant is located just to the left of the bridge that leads to the restaurant. During busy times of the year, you can not check in more than fifteen minutes prior to your reservation. After being checked-in, you will be directed to a line nearer to the restaurant entrance. Your name will be called and soon you’ll be welcomed to the castle! Upon being greeted by a cast member, you will be given a “rose” to place on your table. This “rose” will guide the server to your table and your food will magically appear!

The castle “foyer”
Listen carefully when you enter the foyer of the castle! You aren’t hearing things. The Knights are really whispering to you and carrying on a conversation amongst themselves. And be sure to take a good look around you as the attention to detail is amazing.
This is also the area where you’ll find instructions on how to place your order once you come to the terminals.
How to Order
When you book a lunch or breakfast, you can order from a touch-screen terminal which is super convenient. If you have special dietary needs or want to pay with cash, Cast Members are happy to assist you. Once you place your order, you will be allowed to enter the dining areas.

Want to skip the ordering terminals? For your added convenience, Be Our Guest Restaurant now offers Order-Ahead Dining. If you have a breakfast or lunch dining reservation, you can pre-order your meal up to 30 days in advance.
Be Our Guest Restaurant Dining Rooms
There are three different dining rooms at Be Our Guest and each is exquisite! Guests are welcome to walk around and explore the other rooms no matter which you choose to dine in.
The Grand Ballroom – Go for baroque in this magnificent ballroom with its high, domed ceiling, chandeliers and snow-laced Gothic arches.
The West Wing – Dine in the Beast’s mysterious West Wing study—if you dare—and perhaps you’ll even spy his enchanted rose.
The Castle Gallery – Get swept up in the romance of Belle’s private library, and inspired by the larger-than-life figures of Belle and Beast dancing.
How do the servers know where I am sitting?
Remember the “rose” that I mentioned earlier? The rose is actually a device that allows your server to know exactly where you are sitting. You place the rose on your table and the servers magically appear with your food!

Be Our Guest Restaurant Self-Service Stations
Self-service drink and silverware stations are set up in various locations in the restaurant. There is a wide selection of drink options to choose from including Coca-Cola products, juices, teas, coffee and hot cocoa. Lids and straws and stirrers are near the drink fountains. For those wanting hot tea, Twinings tea bags in various flavors are available as well. If you need to add a bit of sweetener or creamers to your drink, you will find those on the stations.
Silverware and napkins are in a cart located near the drink stations.
Be Our Guest Restaurant Lunch Entrees
The lunch menu at Be Our Guest Restaurant includes, among other things braised pork, vegetable quiche, quinoa salad and French onion soup. Kids can choose from a variety as well including Mickey meatloaf, whole-grain macaroni, grilled shrimp and more. There were four in our group and each ordered a different entrée.
The carved turkey sandwich is served warm on a Baguette with Dijon Mayonnaise and Pommes Frites. As you can see, it is quite large, certainly large enough for two to share.

The Braised Pork (Coq Au Vin Style) is described on the Walt Disney World site as follows:
Eight Hour Slow-cooked Pork with Mushrooms, Onions, Carrots and Bacon served with Mashed Potatoes and Green Beans Jardiniere. This was lick your plate good!

Croque Monsieur sandwich is my favorite sandwich on the menu. This grilled Sandwich of Carved Ham and Gruyere Cheese and Bechamel is served on a grain bread and comes with Pommes Frites. It is no wonder that this is my favorite as it is absolutely delicious!

The last entrée that was ordered by my group was the Carved Prime Chuck Roast Beef Sandwich. Served warm on a Baguette with Horseradish Sour Cream and Pommes Frites, this is another sandwich that is large enough to share!

Be Our Guest Restaurant Desserts
A meal at Be Our Guest Restaurant isn’t complete without trying the desserts! Of course, there’s “The Grey Stuff” that everyone simply must try. But there are other treats served as well including cream puffs, eclairs and out of this world cupcakes.
The Master’s Cupcake is a scrumptious chocolate sponge cake topped with Lumiere’s special “Grey Stuff”. The pretty “pearls” are actually edible as is the pretty chocolate square! And, yes, the “grey stuff” IS delicious!

If you want a little something tart but still sweet, the Lemon Meringue Cupcake is for you! The cupcake is a vanilla sponge cake with a lemon custard filling and flamed meringue icing. I’m sorry that the picture is a bit blurry but in my defense, I was trying to snap the picture before my husband took a bite.

While The Master’s Cupcake and the Lemon Meringue Cupcakes were so very good, the Strawberry Cream Cheese Cupcake was divine! This vanilla sponge cake has a strawberry mousse filling and cream cheese icing. Topping it off is a fresh strawberry slice.

My Family’s Rating
First off, the theming of the restaurant does, as I said early on, makes you feel as if you are truly dining in the Beast’s Castle. The room décor is elaborate and the attention to detail is so well done. The food? Well, as you can see from my pictures, the portions are large and I’m here to tell you that it tastes as good as it looks. And for a quick service meal, we felt that we more than got our money’s worth! Be Our Guest Restaurant remains on our “must return to” restaurants.

Great article!!! If I ever get to go back, we will definitely be trying it.
We had dinner there on our last trip and it was excellent. We sat in the West Wing and enjoyed the special effects. At dinner the bears appears and you get to have your picture taken with him on the way out. On our upcoming trip we have reservations to have lunch there and we are looking forward to it especially after seeing your pictures.
