Chef Mickey’s is my favorite Character Dining Experience in Walt Disney World.  This is always the first dining experience on my family vacations.  For those guests on the Disney Dining Plan this experience will take 1 Table Service. There is no better way to be welcomed to Walt Disney World Resort than by the characters that we love and adore so much! Chef Mickey’s is located in the Contemporary Resort , just a quick monorail ride to the Magic Kingdom or Epcot. The food is served buffet style so there is always something for everyone. For dinner you will usually find roast beef, baked chicken, pasta, pizza, mashed potatoes, vegetables, maccaroni and cheese, chicken fingers and a salad bar. The dessert bar is to die for! The breakfast buffet features made-to-order pancakes, Mickey waffles, French toast, fresh fruit, bacon and more.

The first thing your party will experience is a photograph with the Chef Mickey statue.

The single best part of this dining experience (for me) is that you get to meet and great the Fab Five (Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Pluto and Goofy). Each of the characters will stop by your table to pose for a photograph and sign your autograph book.  I always get my photo taken with Mickey Mouse while dining here! The characters invite all guests to join them in singing and dancing to the napkin song, which is a lot of fun for all ages.  The entertainment is well worth the price of dinner. Not to mention that you will obtain five (5) character autographs limiting the amount of time you have to stand in line in the parks!
