Cinderella 2015

Earlier this year I heard there was a live action Cinderella movie in the works when the teaser trailer was released showing the glass slipper. I completely forgot all about it until earlier this week when I heard that Good Morning America would be premiering the first official trailer for the movie. Well, today was the day for the trailer, and all I can say is that I’m completely blown away! It looks as though they are going the traditional route, and will keep true to the original animated movie.

The cast they rounded up for this movie is unbelievable! Just going down the list:

Helena Bonham Carter (Harry Potter, Alice in Wonderland) – The Fairy Godmother

Cate Blanchett (Lord of the Rings) – Madame Tremaine

Stellan Skarsgard (Thor, Good Will Hunting) – The Grand Duke

Richard Madden (Game of Thrones) – Prince Charming

Lily James (Downtown Abbey) – Cinderella

The film is directed by Kenneth Branagh (Thor).

I, for one, cannot wait for this movie to come out. Coming March 2015!
