Okay so we all know that SeaWorld isn’t getting the best of publicity at the moment, ever since the tragic death of whale trainer Dawn Brancheau and the release of Blackfish. I am here to talk more positively about things that you can do at the park.
While I understand many people disagree with what SeaWorld does, I am an avid visitor and I see the good things that SeaWorld does for animals. So with that in mind I will let you all know about the animal experiences you can have within the park.
DIStracted Tip: Admission to SeaWorld is required. These experiences are not included in the admission price.

This is a 60-minute experience with beautiful Atlantic bottlenose dolphins. Prices vary depending on season. This is the closest trainer dolphin experience you can have without actually getting into the water with them. You will learn different behaviors, and signals the trainers use with the dolphins, and also learn about the animals themselves and what they are like in their natural habitat. Prices start from $59.

You will be taught just how tough it is to look after these amazing creatures on a day-to-day basis, and you will also learn how to keep them healthy in this unique environment that they are in. Okay hands up! Who has had fun watching these amusing characters? I’ll raise my hands to this as I find these creatures highly amusing and mischievous. This is a 60-minute tour in which you meet the stars of SeaWorld‘s newest show: Sea Lion High. You will be able to meet the stars, take photos and then feed buckets of fish to them, and it’s a guaranteed experience you will never forget. Prices start from $44, and for ages 3-9 $24.
Beluga Whales Interaction
This is one of the very few places that offer such a unique experience with these majestic animals. You will be able to get up close and personal with these animals, and you will be shown behaviors and signals on how to communicate with them. The belugas are so friendly they will even come up to you and if you’re lucky you might even capture a kiss from one of them. Please be aware there is a limited amount of guests allowed in to the enclosure for the experience each day. The water is 55 degrees and the area where the whales are kept can be difficult to move around in. Please also note that to be able to do this experience you must speak English fluently to be able to follow safety instructions. Prices start from $199 ages 10 and up.
