A new curse is about to hit Busch Gardens sometime in 2016, built in the same space where Tut’s Tomb was, Cobra’s Curse will take over and dominate the Busch Garden skyline.
Cobra’s Curse is a steel rollercoaster featuring an elevator style lift and spinning cars. The main feature of Cobra’s Curse will be that, after being hoisted 70 feet in the elevator-style lift, the ride will swing to the left and bank outwards bringing riders face to face with the 80ft king serpent himself, Venymyss.
Construction began January 2015 in the Eygpt section of the park. The ride will be at home with the likes of Sheikra, Cheetah hunt and the recent thrill ride Falcon’s Fury.
More in-depth details have not been announced about this ride and an opening date has not been set. Busch Gardens seems to be teasing guests as to what the ride will entail, and only just recently revealed what the ride will look like. Busch Gardens released additional details and a scale model of how the ride should look at the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) earlier this month.
So do you think your ready to be cursed?
