The surprise highlight of our recent day at Disney’s Hollywood Studios was participating in the “For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration.” This show was recently moved to the Hyperion Theater (formerly the home of the American Idol Experience) and has been enhanced for its new home.
Guests are welcomed by the royal historians of Arendelle, who provide a history lesson of the story of Queen Elsa and Princess Anna. The historians are hilarious and narrate the events of the movie with wit. A crystal clear movie screen displays the full scenes of our favorite songs with words to sing along. Kristoff, Anna and finally Queen Elsa join them on stage. and Queen Elsa uses her spectacular powers to bring snow to the entire theater.
Fast Pass+ is available for reserved seating, but we arrived about 5 minutes prior to showtime and were seated without a problem. All seats in the theater have a great view. The banter of the Arendelle historians, the beautiful scenes from the movie, the fabulous music and the special effects make this a not-to-be-missed show at Disney’s Hollywood Studios for all ages.
