We recently reported about the rumor of The Magic of Disney Animation closing soon (RUMOR! Is Animation Academy Getting Erased?), and now it is confirmed! As of close of business of July 12, 2015 all attractions and meet and greets will be closed, but The Animation Gallery store will remain open until August.

According to WDW News Today, Mickey Mouse will be moving to a new home across from the Studio Catering Company.  Mickey’s new exact location is still unclear. Minnie Mouse will rejoin the other characters who meet in the main hub of Disney’s Hollywood Studios, in front of the Chinese Theater.

What Disney has planned for The Magic of Disney Animation building is still unknown, but we do know that Disney’s Hollywood Studios is undergoing some major work!
