Looking to add some magic to the Holidays this year? Need something to keep the whole family entertained? Look no further than Disney Cruise Line! DCL has announced its Holiday Very Merrytime Cruise itineraries and there is sure to be something for everyone on your list.
The holidays are a magical time at all of Disney’s destinations and Disney Cruise Line is no exception. The magic begins on sailings in November on all 4 of the Disney Cruise Line ships. DCL will transform their ships into Holiday Wonderlands that will impress and amaze the whole family. From the twinkling lights to the green garlands adorning the elegant staircase and railings, to the 24-foot Christmas Tree and life-size Gingerbread House; DCL pulls out all the stops to create a magical and unforgettable holiday for your entire family.
Holiday themed entertainment will include a “Deck the Deck” Tropical Holiday Party, Santa Claus Meet and Greet, Tree Lighting Ceremony, Meet and Greet with your favorite Disney Characters dressed in their holiday attire, teen-only and tween-only Holiday Parties, Holiday Storytelling, Holiday themed activities and crafts and the opportunity to make your own gingerbread house.
The magic doesn’t stop onboard however. Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay, will also be magically transformed into a winter wonderland with a beautifully decorated Christmas tree and you may even find the island scattered with snow flurries!
For itineraries that include Thanksgiving, November 26, 2015; there will be a traditional Thanksgiving meal served, Characters will be in holiday themed costumes, and there will be football offerings, as well as an array of other Thanksgiving festivities.
For itineraries that include December 24 and December 25, 2015; a little extra magic will include cookies and milk on Christmas Eve, holiday towel animals, holiday caroling with the kids, religious services, and a special holiday surprise.
