Disney Springs has been transformed into a festive wonderland for the holiday season. The shopping and entertainment location has sparkling decor that reflects the different Disney Springs neighborhoods as well as new seasonal entertainment offerings. And of course, shopping!
The three neighborhoods of Disney Springs have each been transformed into a unique holiday wonderland that reflects the neighborhood’s role in the waterfront town.
The West Side neighborhood transports Guests to a magical winter wonderland with contemporary Christmas trees, white holiday lights, and vibrant blue ornaments. The Marketplace features a colorful, authentic atmosphere with trees and wreaths with a handmade touch. The Landing is decked out with a modern flare that includes metallic decorations and silver and gold decor amongst the holiday lights.
The Marketplace features Holiday Carolers performing favorite Christmas tunes from 6:00 – 10:00 p.m. each evening from November 13th – December 30th. There will also be a special Kwanzaa musical group appearing at the Waterside Stage on December 26th and 27th.
Guests can also visit Santa Claus at The Marketplace from 12:00 – 10:30 p.m. each day from November 13th – December 24th. The new location of The Chalet is by the Waterside Stage. Guests will be given a pager for a virtual queue so they can enjoy their visit to Disney Springs without waiting in a long line. Also appearing from December 25th – 29th is Santa Goofy, who will meet Guests during the same hours at the same location.
During the evenings of December 6th – 13th, Guests have the chance to learn about and experience the story of Hanukkah through music at Waterview Park at The Landing.
Throughout Disney Springs, the Holiday Stilt Walkers will appear from 6:00 – 10:00 p.m. each evening from November 13th – December 30th.
The Marketplace is home to the World of Disney store, which is the world’s largest shopping destination for Disney merchandise. It has recently expanded (read the article here) and offers an incredible array of Disney-themed goods, including trading pins, clothing, hats, and plush toys.
Unique gift ideas can be found at other stores in Disney Springs. D-Tech on Demand allows Guests to custom design a phone case. Twenty Eight & Main features exclusive Disney Parks apparel and accessories for gentlemen. For women’s accessories and apparel, explore the new Disney Boutique Collection at TrenD in The Marketplace. Check out Curl for a hand-painted pair of TOMS shoes, and for the ladies, a personalized pair of flip-flops can be found at Havaianas.
Also for the ladies who are looking for something sparkly, Pandora, ALEX AND ANI, and Crislu jewelry lines can all be found at various locations in the Disney Springs Marketplace, as can the Vera Bradley and Dooney & Bourke bags featuring Disney designs.
Don’t forget the sweet treats! Ghirardelli Ice Cream & Chocolate Shop offers hot chocolates and yummy chocolate treats, and the Ganachery (opening in mid-December) offers custom packaging on gifts of hand-crafted chocolate ganache.
