The Disneyland 60th Diamond Celebration continues through Labor Day, but that doesn’t slow down the Disney Dream Makers! They are hard at work dreaming and expanding “the Happiest Place on Earth”! Along with all the dream making comes the closures and refurbishment of some attractions. If you are planning on visiting Disneyland Resort, you may want to pay close attentions to these refurbishments!
Things have quieted down at both parks this week with no new refurbishments to report. The biggest Disney Park news is that the Hyperion Theater in Disney’s California Adventure Park has reopened with a brand new live show. Frozen – Live at the Hyperion will be showing multiple times a day. This show will be EXTREMELY popular for the foreseeable future, so if it is top on your must do list make sure to get to California Adventure bright and early to secure a fastpass!
There are a few new hotel refurbishments happening at Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel. On June 6, 2016 the California Streamin’ Slide, Paradise Kiddie Pool, Paradise Pool and the Paradise Spa will close for a short time reopening on June 11, 2016. All four (4) will close again July 25, 2016 with the opening date still to be determined.
