The Disneyland 60th Diamond Celebration continues through Labor Day, but that doesn’t slow down the Disney Dream Makers! They are hard at work dreaming and expanding “the Happiest Place on Earth”! Along with all the dream making comes the closures and refurbishment of some attractions. If you are planning on visiting Disneyland Resort, you may want to pay close attentions to these refurbishments!

Fall refurbishments are starting to be announced! In Disneyland Park Frontierland Shooting Exposition will be closed August 1-18, 2016, The Disneyland Story presenting Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln will close on August 22, 2016 with the opening date yet to be determined. Starting August 22, 2016, everyone’s favorite Hitchhiking Ghosts will be going on vacation while The Haunted Mansion gets ready for The Nightmare Before Christmas overlay. Jack Skellington as Santa Claws, Oogie Boogie and all their friends will be haunting the mansion until after the holidays! The exact re-opening date for The Haunted Mansion Holiday hasn’t been announced yet, but it should be sometime mid-September just in time for the Halloween parties!

King Triton’s Carousel in Disney’s California Adventure will be closed starting August 8, 2016. The re-opening date is to be announced still.

The pool refurbishments at Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel have found their way back to the list. On August 22, 2016 California Streamin’ Slide, Paradise pool, Paradise Kiddie pool and the Paradise Spa will close for an undetermined time.
