The Disneyland 60th Diamond Celebration continues through Labor Day, but that doesn’t slow down the Disney Dream Makers! They are hard at work dreaming and expanding “the Happiest Place on Earth!” Along with all the dream-making comes the closures and refurbishment of some attractions. If you are planning on visiting Disneyland Resort, you may want to pay close attentions to these refurbishments!
Fall is just around the corner which brings lower crowds to Disneyland Resort and is the time we start seeing more attractions closed for refurbishment.
Frontierland Shootin’ Exposition in Disneyland Park re-opened to Guests on August 18, 2016. Other Disneyland Park attractions will be closing next week on August 22, 2016 and those are Haunted Mansion and The Disneyland Story Presenting The Great Abraham Lincoln.
On August 29, 2016 Twilight Zone Tower of Terror in Disney’s California Adventure will be closing for a very short period of time. This is probably for imagineers to get in there and do some preliminary calculations and possible work to get ready for Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission BREAKOUT overhaul.
There were quite a few refurbishments added to the list for September, so if you have an upcoming trip planned you will want to check out the list below for current and upcoming refurbishments that are already on the schedule.
