BREAKING NEWS!

Some big announcements were revealed this morning during Disney’s Annual Meeting of Shareholders in San Francisco. And, there was a slight slip of the tongue made by Disney CEO Bob Iger.  When a six year old named Gideon asked Mr. Iger if the name of Disney’s Hollywood Studios was being changed again,  Mr. Iger’s reply, while also speaking back and forth with the board, was “No… Well we are doing a lot of work there that may result in a name change, wait we haven’t announced that yet have we? Can we announce that? Ok how about this, we will confirm we will be changing the name of the park, but not tell you the new name, we will announce that later.”  Clearly, Disney wasn’t quite ready to make the announcement just yet.

So, not only is Hollywood Studios getting an additional track at Toy Story Mania, it’s also getting a new name!  With all the changes that have been made and are rumored to be made to the park, this really should come as no surprise but somehow it did!
