Disney’s Animal Kingdom will begin testing a new early entry procedure starting on Monday, June 29, 2015. The test is rumored to run through July.
Currently, the only early entry into the park is during Extra Magic Hours, but during the testing period, guests will be allowed to enter 30 minutes prior to the scheduled park opening to explore and enjoy The Oasis, which is the often-overlooked first “land” in the park.
The new procedure may help speed up entry into the park, and there is speculation that guests will be allowed to use the Fastpass+ kiosks prior to official park opening.
If you’re going to be at the park during the test, let me know how it goes!
