It’s true Disney fans, yet another closure for Hollywood Studios. Following in the footsteps of American Idol and the Studio Backlot Tour, everyone’s favourite rum swigging whiskey drinking pirate Captain Jack Sparrow and his attraction the ” Legend Of Captain Jack Sparrow” will close on November 6, 2014.

The walk through attraction opened a mere two years ago 6 December 2012 replacing The Journey Of Narnia Prince Caspian which had previously occupied the building. It featured various scenes from the Pirates of the Caribbean movie franchise in which you walk through after being recruited by a talking skull to become a crew member of  the captain himself and ending with a good ol’ sing along with every pirates favourite song ‘yo ho yo ho a pirates life for me’

The recent closure of yet another attraction at Disney’s Hollywood Studios has renewed rumours that a BIG renovation process is in for the park. Disney has not confirmed this. We do know a permit for Sound Stage 1 with an expiration date of 9/30/16 was handed in. Meaning Disney’s Hollywood Studios is in for a big makeover

As to what will fill this space no one knows Pixarland? Cars Land? Star Wars Land? What would you like to see?
