Festival of Fantasy Parade Finale, Pinocchio

For years, people have asked “What time is the 3 o’clock parade?”. Of course, they were referring to the Festival of Fantasy Parade at the Magic Kingdom.  Recognizing the fact that they could make a profit off of that very question, Disney started producing tees with Goofy asking that same thing.

Festival of Fantasy Parade Time Change?

Guests with a keen eye have noticed changes to the times that the Festival of Fantasy Parade will be held. I went to the Walt Disney World site myself and started playing around with the parade hours on various dates. At the present time, the parade is being held at 3:00 p.m. just as it has done for years. In August, the schedule changes. August 19th, the parade showing is at 3:00 p.m. But, you click on the calendar for August 20th and, there it is, the new 2:00 p.m. parade time.

For research purposes, I looked at several dates in each and every month. All showed a 2:00 p.m. parade time. I even went far enough out that I could see what time the parade would be held during our upcoming trip in November.

It seems that, although there has been no official release, the new parade time will take effect on August 20, 2017 and the parade will be at 2:00 p.m. until at least November. But, as with all things Disney, we know that this could change. So, keep your eyes on the Magical DIStractions site for further updates!
