Walt Disney World Resort is gearing up for the 20th annual Epcot International Food and Wine Festival presented by Chase and foodies are positively giddy with today’s news! Not only will Guests experience the delights of over 30 global marketplaces throughout the World Showcase, they will get to sample dishes in Future World as well.
What will will see with the new expansion?
Artistry of Wine & Cheese
Along the pathway to Future World West Guests will sample a cheese platter, to be paired with wine, at the Cheese Studio. The cheese will be served on an artist palate and sampled underneath pergolas covered in grape vines. Completing the Napa Valley immersion is the Wine Studio which will feature wines on tap. Yes, on tap. Stealing away from tradition, this innovative Studio will house the wines in a keg. This will save bottles, corks, and packaging of 26 bottles per keg.
Next Eats
Located near the Epcot Character Spot, Next Eats will feature two marketplaces inspired by the hit ABC show, “The Chew”. Sustainable Chew will feature dishes inspired by co-hosts Mario Batali, Michael Symon, Carla Hall, Clinton Kelly and Daphne Oz. The Chew Lab is taking innovation to the next level, pairing food science and culinary tech to inspire dishes such as Liquid Nitro Chocolate Almond Truffle with Warm Whiskey Caramel.
