It’s that time of year again when foodies and  wine aficionados gather in Epcot to sample some of the world’s best cuisine at the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival presented by Chase.  While some Guests have the luxury to nosh at their leisure, moms and dads know all too well that a strategic plan is a requirement for maximum enjoyment.

As a mom of two little guys, ages 3 and 5, I can promise you that they are quite the explorers and have little patience for sitting around waiting for mom and dad to savor Global Marketplace delicacies.  So I was thrilled to read the announcement of Remy’s Ratatouille Hide and Squeak!

Designed in the same vein as Agent P’s World Showcase Adventure, Remy’s Ratatouille Hide and Squeak takes young chefs on a scavenger hunt throughout World Showcase, searching for ingredients for Remy to make his infamous Ratatouille.

The adventure begins by purchasing the map and stickers for $9.99 at select festival locations including: the Festival Center, Pin Central, Port of Entry or World Traveler at International Gateway.  As young sous chefs gather the ingredients, they affix a sticker on the map.  Once completed bring all the ingredients, and the map, to the Port of Entry to redeem your special surprise. Hint: it’s pictured below.

The good news is moms and dads can trade off and enjoy the Festival.  As one parent is searching for ingredients with the littles, the other can enjoy the delights offered at the Global Marketplaces. And all the while, the kiddos are enjoying themselves.

Kudos to the Disney Parks team for creating this hunt!   It’s yet another example of Walt Disney World Resort’s commitment to provide an enjoyable experience for Guests of all ages.

• There is a fee for this experience. The cost is $9.99 plus tax.  Admission to Epcot is required.
• Remy’s Ratatouille Hide and Squeak is available through November 16, 2015.
• You DO NOT have to complete the entire map in order to redeem your prize.
