As fans of Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival start planning their upcoming Disney Parks vacations, anticipation is at an all-time high. The Epcot International Food and Wine Festival will run an unprecedented two full months this year (September 14-November 14) and there is so much to see, do and of course eat and drink. While costs can add up depending on your level of participation, there is one place Guests can go and it doesn’t cost a penny! As the owner of a Chase Disney Visa credit card, Chase credit or debit card, you are an invited Guest to the Chase Lounge. Located on the third floor of the American Adventure Pavilion in Epcot’s World Showcase, access is exclusively granted to Chase cardholders and their invited guests (up to 5 additional Guests per card was the standard last year. This, of course, is subject to change). Just present your card and head on up!
Need to beat the heat before you Eat to the Beat? Looking for a spot to relax between courses? The Chase Lounge offers Guests complimentary soft drinks; you can practice your culinary skills by mixing your own flavors with Coke Freestyle machines. An economically priced cash bar, comfy seating, and phone charging stations add to the appeal of this “members-only” club. Plus, the Chase Lounge is air-conditioned, which makes it a perfect place to escape, especially during those scorching hot Florida days. Kids can take a break and watch Disney cartoons or even try their hand at Disney Infinity, conveniently set up to entertain kids while the adults recharge … their phones and themselves!
During peak times, there may be a wait to enter the Chase Lounge. Due to a limited capacity, when we visited last October the wait was upwards of 30 minutes just to get up to the lounge. One Guest could enter only when another exited. However, many have reported no wait times, so it definitely pays to stop by and assess the line before committing to it.
The Chase Lounge is an exclusive perk for Chase cardholders only during the Epcot Food and Wine Festival, September 14-November 14, 2016. The lounge opens at 11:00AM and closes with the park. Regular park admission is required as well. It is not too late to apply for your Chase Disney Visa in advance of this year’s Epcot Food and Wine Festival to enjoy this and many other perks of being a member! For more information, click here.
