AMC fork and Screen
On our latest trip to Walt Disney World Resort, my family decided to take an evening to watch Cinderella. I have always loved the story of Cinderella and I was looking forward to this live-action rendition! We love our local AMC Theatre and we have friends that have raved about the Dine-In Theatre option with the unique Fork and Screen restaurant so we knew this was the perfect chance to try out this unique dining option!

AMC Box Office
DIStracted Tip: If you are wanting to catch a movie at the Dine-In Theatre, make a left at the Harley-Davidson store! We didn’t realize there were two different box offices and entrances, and it cut into our time!

AMC, Fork and Screen
When you walk into the main doors, you will see Guest Services on your right and MacGruffins Bar in front of you. On either side of the bar are the hallways that lead to the theaters. Since we had purchased our tickets at the box office, we headed straight to our theatre and hurried down to our seats.
DIStracted Tip: You will actually choose your seat location when you purchase your tickets for the movie!
Once we arrived at our table, we sat in plush recliner-type chairs and pushed the button on the table to let our server know we were ready to place our order. He quickly came down, helped explain the process and took our order!
My girls and I started off with some frozen refreshments. They each got a milkshake, but I chose something a bit stronger. Their milkshakes were thick and creamy-you know, hard to use a straw thick!
I chose the Watermelon Mist Margarita. This was very refreshing after being at the pool in the afternoon!
For our starter, we ordered the Fiesta Trio & Chips. Who can go wrong with corn tortillas and 3 flavorful dips? There was chunky guacamole, roasted chipotle salsa and creamy queso. I’m not usually a fan of guacamole, but this chunky version was super tasty to me.
(Excuse the lack of pictures, but since the food arrived after our movie had started, I wasn’t able to snap any good pictures. )
For our meals, I ordered the Blackened Chicken Alfredo and my girls each had a grilled cheese kid’s meal. My dish was creamy and seasoned just right! Hindsight being 20/20, perhaps I should have just ordered ONE kid’s meal for my daughters to share. The food was good, but they didn’t want to eat when they could watch the beauty on the screen.
Another thing I’d like to point out is the fact that under the table, there is bar that runs along the length of the table. If you are a short girl like me and have problems with your feet reaching the floor, this is AWESOME! While the chair does recline, it does not have a footrest, so this bar is perfect for propping up your feet while you eat and enjoy the movie.
This experience was more than a meal and more than a movie! Check the movie listings about 10 days out from your vacation to see what movies are playing and how you can include this unique outing into your vacation schedule.
