When you’re in a rush to get to your next FastPass+ reservation, eating may be the last thing on your mind. Luckily, there are plenty of portable treats and snacks available throughout the theme parks at the Walt Disney World Resort.
Caramel Apple- There’s nothing quite like a crisp caramel apple! While Guests will find apples coated in the traditional caramel and caramel with nuts, they’ll also find a variety of themed caramel apples. This classic treat is available at select shops throughout the Resort.
Churros- Portable cinnamon sugar fried dough? Sign me up! This sweet treat can be found at many snack carts throughout the resort, but most notably at La Cantina de San Angel at Epcot.
Corn Dog- This classic carnival snack can be purchased at select carts at the theme parks. Guests can also enjoy corn dog nuggets at Casey’s Corner at the Magic Kingdom.
Jumbo Mickey Pretzel – Mickey shaped anything just tastes better and pretzels are no exception to the rule! This snack can definitely be shared between two Guests.
Marshmallow Wands- Much like the Caramel Apple, Marshmallow Wands are usually decorated for the season or themed to popular characters. The marshmallows are usually coated in sugar or chocolate and skewered onto a stick. Marshmallow Wands are available at select shops throughout the Resort.
Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bar– This iconic ice cream treat can be purchased at nearly all ice cream carts throughout the theme parks. While this may not be the neatest option on the list, it’s certainly one of the more refreshing. The cool vanilla ice cream covered in chocolate is a must for any first-time Guest!
Popcorn- The smell of freshly popped popcorn greets Guests as soon they enter Main Street U.S.A. Just as ubiquitous as the Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bar, this classic snack is available at carts throughout the theme parks. Guests may have the option to purchase popcorn in a themed souvenir bucket for an additional fee.
Rice Krispie Treat- In my opinion, the rice krispie treats at the Walt Disney World Resort are the best! Guests can choose from a variety of shapes and sizes including the traditional square shape or, my personal favorite, Mickey shaped! If a plain-old rice krispie treat won’t do, Guests can purchase treats dipped in chocolate or adorned with other candies.
DIStracted Tip: Guests can create-their-own rice krispie treats and pretzel rods at Goofy’s Candy Company at Disney Springs Marketplace. Read more here.
Turkey Leg- This iconic snack (meal?) can be purchased at carts throughout the theme parks. While I find the smell of the turkey leg delicious, I have never been brave enough to eat one in public.
