The Internet has been lighting up for months about the sweeping changes coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. One question that emerged from all of the conversations is what the future held for Hollywood Studios’ original flagship attraction, The Great Movie Ride.
We are going to get a better glimpse into that future because according to the NYTIMES, Walt Disney World and Turner Classic Movies are going to announce a partnership that will see updates completed on The Great Movie Ride.
Included in the changes will be new posters in the queue and a new pre-ride video hosted by Robert Osborne of TCM fame, offering explanations and facts about the movies you experience in the attraction itself. There will also be TCM branding interjected throughout the ride itself.
The partnership will also see blocks of Disney programming brought to TCM which will be guaranteed to excite classic Disney fans!
Are you excited about these changes? Let us know your thoughts!
This is going to be AWESOME! Thanks for sharing, I hope this happens quickly!
Christen, I don’t know if I am more excited about the ride being updated or the old programming coming back on air!!
