For those of us who travel to Walt Disney World more than once per year, it may seem like the MagicBands just pile up. Now My Disney Experience (the website, not the app) has been updated with a “decline” option.  You must have at least one active MagicBand currently on your account and your MagicBand can’t be more than a year old. MagicBands have a battery in them that doesn’t last more than 2 years so Disney wants to make sure Guests don’t have a MagicBand with a dead battery.

DIStracted Tip – If you live in Canada, you don’t receive MagicBands prior to arrival.  But now with this option you can use MagicBands you already have, and receive your direct-to-room check in!
