Don’t ask why, but I have never been a big autograph book fan.  I see others with books with blank pages for characters to sign, but it just seems a little boring to me.  So, when I saw the Guide to the Magic Deluxe Autograph and Sticker Book by Tim Foster I got excited.  This could actually be a book that I knew my kids would enjoy – not only during our Walt Disney World Resort trip but when we returned home and for years to come!

DIStracted Tip:  Make sure to check each park for the most up-to-date character spots!  While this guide has a lot of helpful information, Disney is known for moving characters around with little to no warning!

Before each character meet that we had, my daughter would decide what page the character would sign.  Because you know – Elsa needs a BLUE background!  While in line, she would also find the sticker that is inside the book and apply it to the page the character would be signing.  This helped to distract her when the line was a bit too long.

The part that my daughter and I had the MOST fun with during our latest trip was the World Showcase section. Cast Members know how to make a kid’s day with their ever present supply of  character stickers!  Everyone has at least one story during their trip that involves a wonderful Cast Member and a Mickey (or other character!) sticker.  From the adorable young woman at Pinocchio Village Haus who asked for my daughter’s signature for HER autograph book to the night that Tinkerbell delivered a special treat in the place of the Tooth Fairy, we have lots of great memories.  We can keep all those memories in our book along with the stickers that we were given. What a great way to keep those free souvenirs!
