Today the Disney Diva Daisy Duck celebrates her birthday!

Daisy was created to look similar to Donald Duck  but she has large lashes and ruffled tail feathers to suggest a skirt. She is often seen wearing a big bow in her hair, a pink blouse, and stylish shoes. Daisy made her debut in Mr. Duck Steps Out in 1940, and has been incorporated in many of the short films and comic stories since. Her place in the Fab Five is as the significant other of Donald.   Although she is very loving towards him, she gives the impression she is more sophisticated than him. She is also considered to be Minnie Mouse’s best friend, and they can sometimes be seen giving each other support when their other halves are being unruly.
