INCREDIBLE News!

Director Brad Bird has confirmed his next project is none other than The Incredibles 2!! Bird directed Pixar’s first installment, The Incredibles, which was released in 2004. Most recently he directed the upcoming Disney film Tomorrowland, which is set to release on May 22. Bird was recently asked  if the highly anticipated Incredibles sequel had a script. He responded:

“Oh yeah I have pages, a bunch of pages. I had a lot of ideas for the original Incredibles that I didn’t get a chance to use, that I like. I have ideas that I wanted to pursue a little bit and there wasn’t enough time in Incredibles. There are new ideas I have, and I think there are enough of those together to make an interesting movie.”

Pixar first announced plans for the sequel to the original superhero film back in March 2014. This is the first news regarding the film since last March. At this time no release date has been set. Stay tuned to Magical DIStractions as we will keep you updated.
