INNOVENTIONS West in Epcot’s Future World will temporarily close on Thursday, April 29th. The closure is so the attraction can “begin preparing for a new experience.” A Disney representative said the sponsorship agreements with the three (3) current exhibitors have ended and the space will be prepared for something new.
The current exhibitors are:
- Where’s the Fire? (presented by Liberty Mutual) This is the largest fire safety exhibit in the United States. The exhibit teaches children about fire safety in their homes.
- Think (presented by IBM). This exhibit teaches the impact individuals and groups working together can have on the planet. IBM has been a sponsor of INNOVENTIONS since 1994.
- The Great Piggy Bank Adventure (presented by T. Rowe Price). This exhibit teaches families the importance of financial planning.
Exact details about the exhibit’s future are unknown. Stay tuned to Magical DIStractions and we will keep you informed with the latest news as soon as we know something. Are you sad to see these exhibits go? Do you have any ideas on what is coming next? We would love to hear your suggestions.
