Ever since I booked my upcoming February trip I have been keeping a very close eye on – possibly to the point of stalking – any and every mention of a 24 hour event for leap day at Walt Disney World Resort.

I have scoured over websites, blogs and even looked for press releases over and over again! I thought we’d for sure hear something on New Year’s Eve … but not a peep! Here we are a week into January and still there hasn’t been any mention of a 24 hour event on February 29th!

Then today I hear mention of possible restaurant menus listing a “24 Hour Event” menu! I, of course, have to grab my phone and check each and every restaurant in Magic Kingdom to see if they actually list a special menu … and guess what? Two table service restaurants have a menu labeled “24 Hour Event” –  The Crystal Palace and The Plaza Restaurant!

Now these are only visible on the app, and could be left over from the last 24 Hour Event … but there is now a little glimmer of hope!

Are you holding out hope for a special 24 Hour Leap Day Event this year? For me it would make our Walt Disney World trip unforgettable and we all know Unforgettable Happens Here!
