Take a flight to Never Land and celebrate the 5th anniversary of the Tinker Bell Half Marathon on May 5th-8th, 2016.

Registration for all events opens today (August 11, 2015) at noon EDT on the runDisney website!

The Tinker Bell Half Marathon is deemed a women’s themed race, but of course Peter Pan, The Lost Boys and Hook are more then welcome to join in the fun!

The Tinker Bell Half Marathon Weekend kicks off on Thursday, May 5th, 2016 with the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo. The expo is filled with everything you need to be ready for your runDisney race. There are speakers, the latest in fitness and running gear, and all the commemorative souvenirs your heart desires!

DIStracted Tip: ALL runDisney race participants must attend the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo for packet pick-up.

On Sunday, May 8, 2016 the Tinker Bell half marathon takes you on a magical adventure through the Disneyland Resort and the streets of Anaheim, California. Best of all, Disney Characters will be available throughout the course for special photo ops and to cheer you on! Those that sign up receive a Champion short sleeve tech shirt, Tinker Bell Half Marathon finisher’s medal, Tinker Bell Half Marathon mesh bag, and much more!

Registration for the Tinker Bell Half Marathon is $199 by August 25, 2015; $215 between August 26 – September 8, 2015; and $230 on or after September 9, 2015.

DIStracted Tip: runDisney races are known to sell out within just minutes of registration opening! Make sure to be signed in and ready by noon EDT.

Not interested in a half marathon? runDisney has you covered! On Saturday, May 7, 2016 the Tinker Bell 10k lets runners experience 6.2 Pixie Dusted miles through the Disneyland Resort. Runners receive a Champion short sleeve tech shirt, Tinker Bell 10k finishers medal, and a personalized race bib.

Registration for the Tinker Bell 10k is $110 by August 25, 2015; $125 between August 26 – September 8, 2015; and $140 on or after September 9, 2015.

Love a challenge? Pay close attention! Imagine 2 fabulous days and 2 pixie perfect races all in 1 weekend! The Pixie Challenge combines the Tinker Bell Half Marathon and the Tinker Bell 10k and gives runners the ultimate 19.3 mile challenge. Those that sign up for the Pixie Challenge receive all the goodies for the half marathon and the 10k PLUS a special Pixie Challenge Champion short sleeve tech shirt and a Pixie Challenge finishers medal.

Registration for the Pixie Challenge is $330 by August 25, 2015; $355 between August 26 – Septmeber 8, 2015; and $380 on or after September 9, 2015.

DIStracted Tip: You MUST sign up for the Pixie Challenge when registering! Signing up separately for the half and the 10k will NOT count for the Pixie Challenge.

The Never Land 5k is full of family fun! On Friday, May 6, 2016 hunt down Tinker Bell and Peter Pan for special photos and keep a look out for Smee and Captain Hook while running 3.1 miles through the Disneyland Resort. All registered runners receive a special 5k unisex T-shirt and a 5k finisher’s medallion.

Registration for the Never Land 5k is $75 by September 8, 2015 and goes up to $85 on September 9, 2015.

And don’t forget about the runDisney Kids races just for those little fairies and Lost Boys. These short races are just right for children 8 years old and under. runDisney also celebrates the little ones who are 12 months and younger with the Diaper Dash.  A 100m Dash is just right for the toddlers (1 to 3 years old).  The 4 to 6 year-olds get to show off their special running style with the 200m Dash, and the 7 to 8 year olds will fly right by you in a 400m Dash. Each participate in the runDisney Kids Races will receive a runDisney Kids Races T-shirt, finisher’s medallion and even a personalized runner’s bib.

Registration for the runDisney Kids Races is $20 by September 8, 2015 and goes up to $25 on September 9, 2015.

DIStracted Tip: While these races are for the younger set, parents are allowed to run with their child(ren). The runDisney Kids Races start off with the 100m Dash, followed by the 200m Dash, 400m Dash and finish with the Diaper Dash.
