According to the Orlando Sentinel it is confirmed that a new King Kong attraction is in the works for Universal Studios Orlando!

In a brief slip during the quarterly earnings call, chief financial officer Michael Angelakis told analysts, “we continue to invest in attractions including Harry Potter and the Fast and Furious attractions in Hollywood and a King Kong attraction in Orlando … We are transforming our parks into must-see destinations and are very enthusiastic about their potential.”

Universal Studios Orlando has not released any details about the new ride, but Universal Orlando spokesman Tom Shroder released this in an email: “It’s true that something big is headed our way, but everyone will have to stay tuned for details.”

Many have been speculating about a new King Kong ride since Universal Studios signed a deal with Legendary Pictures, who will be releasing a new King Kong feature in 2016.
