Spending the day on the body slides and ski slopes at Disney’s Blizzard Beach works up an appetite! Whether you need to conquer a mighty mountain of hunger or cool off with a refreshing tropical drink, you’re sure to find what you need as there are many restaurants and snack vendors scattered throughout the park. Menus are posted in a couple of locations so that Guests can decide where they want to dine.
One of the counter service restaurants is Lottawatta Lodge. Designed to look like a ski chalet, Lottawatta Lodge dishes up cheeseburgers, sandwiches, flatbreads, wraps, salads and more! Guests 21 and older can chill-out with a draft “brew-ski.” All-day refillable mugs and hot and cold drinks are also available.
Location
Located at the front of the park and near the park entrance, Lottawatta Lodge has numerous entree choices and lots of seating even during the busier times of the day. During our last two trips to the water park, Lottawatta Lodge was where we dined for our lunch time meal. At the time of our visit, there were at least seven main entrees from which to choose and the kids had three choices, all of which were served in their own sand pail. To view the full menu, you can find it here.
What did we order
We were in the mood for basic fare so our selections were burgers and pizza. The pizza had just the right amount of sauce and toppings and the crust was nice and fluffy. My son is somewhat of a pizza aficionado and if he gives the pizza a thumbs up, it must have been good. Not as good as the pizza that we had at Via Napoli but we didn’t expect that same greatness at a water park.
The burgers that my husband and I ordered were cooked just right and were nice and juicy. Although you can’t see them in the pictures, our dessert choices were a cheesecake and chocolate chip cookies.
The three of us were happy with our decision to eat at Lottawatta Lodge again as the food was good and gave us the energy needed to go back and hit those water slides again and again and again!
DIStracted tip: For those wanting to add mayonnaise, mustard or ketchup to their entrees, there are at least two condiment and utensil stations set up near the ordering area.
Lottawatta Lodge Seating & the Dining Plan
The seating at Lottawatta Lodge is all outdoors and there is no cover other than the umbrellas at the picnic style tables. There are several tables that are shaded by the trees surrounding the dining area so you can get a respite from the Florida sunshine.
Lottawatta Lodge accepts the Disney Dining Plan and is considered a counter service restaurant. Some of the items on the menu may be considered a snack credit. Simply look for the DP on the menu or ask a cast member for assistance. They are always more than happy to help.
