So I along with many of you Latinas/os out there have finally breathed a sigh of relief que al fin (finally) there is a Latina Princesa.
Princesa Elena De Avalor is the newest Disney princess to grace our screens. The princess from Disney Channels ‘Elena of Avalor’ will be available for meet and greet at the Magic Kingdom the beginning of August and to Disney California Adventure this fall. She will appear on the Disney Channel on the 1st of August 2016.
Elena will not be left behind in the costume department either, we have had a sneak preview of what stunning dress the princesa will be wearing. It will be a beautiful off the shoulder dress with pretty floral features and lovely sash. The dress was designed by a contest of the American programme ‘Project Runway’ Layana Aguilar whom herself is a Latina with Brazilian roots. The inspiration of the dress shows off the bold colours and rich cultures of Latin America!

Personally I think this princess will take Disney by storm and finally a Disney Princess all little Latino girls and boys can look up to.
