Are you looking for a unique experience at Magic Kingdom for your family? Walt Disney World Resort has just announced a new way to watch Wishes nighttime spectacular, Magic Kingdom’s nightly fireworks. Ferrytale Wishes: A Fireworks Dessert Cruise will take you aboard the double-stack General Joe Potter ferryboat for a decadent dessert party and an unforgettable view.
Ferrytale Wishes will include delicious confections! Guests will dine on “The Grand” key lime tarts and Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort’s pineapple upside down cake. The delicious “Main Street” Mickey Balloon Tarts mini “fireworks” cupcakes with a pop are served. The spiced flourless chocolate cake from Disney’s Contemporary Resort pastry kitchen is on the menu too. Cinderella’s Sugar Slipper with Orange Financier is a dessert you will want to try.
Want to eat a little heathier? Try the No-sugar added Florida mango panna cotta or the fruit and cheese spread. You can indulge in these treats on your souvenir acrylic palette plate. In a somewhat surprising twist, specialty alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are served in souvenir glow glasses!
It’s like a marvelous mashup of Epcot’s IllumiNations Sparkling Dessert Party, Magic Kingdom’s Wishes Fireworks Dessert Party, and Disney Specialty Fireworks Cruises! The soundtrack is piped throughout the boat’s sound system so you can fully enjoy every moment.
When is the First Sailing?
The first sailing of Ferrytale Wishes is October 5th, and others are offered on select dates. Happy HalloWishes or Holiday Wishes are viewed when those fireworks shows are on display,
Distracted Tip: Ferrytale Wishes departs from the Ferryboat launch at the Transportation & Ticket Center, so admission to Magic Kingdom is not required. Reservations are set for one hour prior to fireworks. You can check in as early as 75 minutes prior to firework. However, you’ll need to make sure that you check in at least 50 minutes prior. You don’t want to miss the boat!
