It happens to the best of us. We plan a practically perfect trip to the Walt Disney World Resort and have a magical time. Then we start to leave and realize- we forgot to grab that special souvenir. I know, I know! We hem and haw over purchasing it immediately or waiting until later in the day. So, how can you ensure that you have your special souvenir?
First tip: Just buy it now! A great perk of staying on property, is that most items can be delivered to your room at no extra cost. So, if you are debating carrying a large item or maybe a Christmas present you want to keep a secret from your kids- you can ask the cast member about delivery services. If you are staying off property, don’t worry. They also offer pick up services at the front of each park. Ask the Cast Member at the shop you are purchasing from to verify the method available to you at the time of the sale.
Second tip: Contact the Cast Members at Merchandise Guest Services! The number is 877-560-6477 and the email address is Merchandise.Guest.Services@DisneyParks.com. This great service should be able to help you find the special item that you forgot or missed. In order for the Cast Members to find your special item, share with the CM as much information about your item as possible. This includes colors, patterns, and store location. They will work their Disney Magic to track down the SKU and pricing information. You are then able to purchase your special item for the same price as in the store, however, you will have a shipping cost.
