When you love a character and you can guarantee to see that character AND have a fantastic meal all at the same time – you book that Advanced Dining Reservation EVERY trip, am I right? Well, anyone who ever asks my opinion on character meals knows – breakfast at 1900 Park Fare the is one of my FIRST suggestions. In fact this is not the first post I have written about my love for the Supercalifragilistic Breakfast!
We planned a very short trip for 2016 and of course, I just could not pass up seeing our favorite friends at our favorite meal. I booked an early ADR and hoped that it would not take to much time away from our day at Disney’s Magic Kingdom Park!
When we arrived, there was a bit of commotion since there was a large group of students who were traveling together. While I stood in line to check in at the desk, I noticed a Cast Member speaking to my husband and girls.

My husband and kids speaking with a Cast Member
At first, I just assumed it was the Cast Members trying to be nice to the girls because of the crowd of teenagers- but then my husband gave me a look with a huge smile. When I finally got all checked in, he told me that the girls were going to get to open the restaurant! I was THRILLED! In all of our times at 1900 Park Fare, I had never known that there was even a CHANCE to open the restaurant with the Cast Members, so I was so excited to have this brand new experience with my girls!
The Cast Member asked the girls to come to the front door and then what happened next was just pure Pixie Dust as far as I am concerned! Check out the video below to see the magic!
Now, if you have read my previous post about the Supercalifragilistic Breakfast then you know, we have been really lucky over the years to see the same Mary Poppins several times. I was bummed that this was not the same friend, but this was still my FAVORITE character interaction probably of ALL time with my children at Walt Disney World!
We enjoyed our meal, and even without my beloved Lobster Eggs Benedict (which have been removed from the current menu) it was delicious and we all left very full. I just love how many options there are with traditional breakfast items. And as usual, the chef was amazing with my food sensitivity (I cannot eat pork) and brought some turkey sausage to my table very quickly.
