The Force will be getting even stronger in Disney’s Hollywood Studios on June 17, 2016! Disney has just announced that this is the date when the new Star Wars-Themed Nighttime Show will debut.

As previously reported by Magical Distractions, (to read more please click here) Disney’s Hollywood Studios has been incorporating several new Star Wars features into the park. One of these is a new Star Wars-themed Nighttime Show.  Earlier this year,  Symphony in the Stars: A Galactic Spectacular debuted.  This has been an awesome fireworks spectacular, set to Star Wars music, with a few surprises along the way. Those who have seen it have loved this amazing show, but in true Disney fashion, imagineers have worked to incorporate all of today’s most amazing technology to truly transform the show into an epic experience!

On June 17th, Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular will debut.  Each night, this new show will combine stunning fireworks, pyrotechnics, special effects and video projections that transform the park’s Chinese Theatre and other buildings into the twin suns of Tatooine, a field of battle droids, the trench of the Death Star, Starkiller base and other Star Wars destinations.  The show will feature music from the entire Star Wars film history and feature a tower of fire and spotlight beams which are meant to create a massive lightsaber in the sky.  Star Wars: A Galactic Spectaular is the most elaborate show in the park’s history. Sounds like this amazing new show will be on your must-see list for your next visit to Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
